Dan Fisherman will also be hosting a Youth Philosophers Cafe for young inquiring minds in grades 6-9. Dan will lead students in a discussion that explores a philosophical, ethical, or sociopolitical issue. The group will explore open ended questions like; Might advanced AI robots deserve human rights? Can we know that we don't live in the Matrix? This a great opportunity for young people to connect with peers and develop critical thinking skills. Please login before the meeting begins so you have time to download the program or created an account if needed. For login information email Ms. Ginny [email protected] or Ms. Michelle at [email protected].
Stay tuned for more ways to create, connect and explore online with the library. LEGO Club @ Home ATTENTION all you LEGO fans out there!
If you're missing Thursday's LEGO Club as much as we are, we thought it would be fun to send out a LEGO Challenge each week. You may email Ginny a pic of your creation (if it's OK with parents, she will use first names only), and she will post them on our Facebook page. Families are welcome to participate together. Email your space-themed LEGO creation to Ms. Ginny at [email protected] by Thursday April 8th. |
